If you’re looking for an excuse to ride through the scenic beauties of the island, more beaches can be reached by car, just a few of them being Tsilivi, Laganas, Kalamaki, and Limni Keri beach.

Minimarkets are 600m away from villa Vakis, with a supermarket at 900m. You can find supermarkets and souvenir shops at Laganas and Kalamaki and a fair share of every store you can imagine in Zakynthos Town, including local products the island takes pride in making.

Bars & Restaurants

Restaurants and traditional Greek eateries are scattered all around villa Vakis. Within a 10-minute walking distance, you can find the closest taverna. If you’d rather take your car, check out the beachfront options at Agios Sostis, Limni Keri and Laganas, or enjoy a refreshing cocktail in a beach bar.

Family fun

Limni Keri, only 6km from the villa, holds many fun options for the whole family. From boat trips and motorboat hires to a scuba diving school, action-packed activities are a sure thing. Kalamaki, a little further, offers an exciting Go-Kart centre and a mini-golf course. If your idea of fun is water slides of different shapes and sizes, head over to Sarakinado Water Village in a 30-minute drive and indulge in amazing games, including a baby pool for the youngest ones in the group.

Points of interest

Apart from the fantastic beaches near Sea View Private Villa Vakis, Zakynthos is full of excuses to take carefree summer rides. Visit the famous Navagio (Shipwreck) beach, offering a panoramic view, or take the boat to get a closer look. Zante town is also a must-see with the Venetian style houses and the castle. Don’t forget to tour along the northern part of the island, a much more tranquil stretch of land.
